The Mr Clean Magic Eraser Mop – A Product Review of a Cleaning Super Tool

Mr Clean Magic Eraser Mop

A year ago, I bought my very first Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Mop. And since then, it has made house cleaning easier for me. So you can only imagine how happy I was when I found out that Mr. Clean Mop now produces Magic Eraser Mops!

Updates 30/7/2011 : With so many high tech steam mops, I do not recommend getting Mr Clean Magic Eraser Mop. I bought it a year ago when I felt that using steam is not necessary. But after awhile, I realise for another 3 times the amount of money, I could reduce my workload by almost 10 times! and you can have a 1 year warranty. Normal mop don’t get you a warranty. The best thing is, it is just like a vacuum cleaner where you plug and play without any hassle. And for me, I love steam mop as it gets my oily kitchen clean.

I recommend that you check out our steam mop reviews 2011 which we have reviewed several top products and provide you a worry/hassle free on choosing a good steam mop.

Advantages of Mr Clean Mop

[easyazon-image-link asin="B0012H14LE" alt="Mr Clean Magic Eraser Squeeze Mop" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31CwLDncK%2BL._SL160_.jpg" align="left" width="137" height="160"]One of the best things about this mop is that it uses universal mop head replacements $15.67 $12.70 ($1.59 / oz). Meaning to say, the refills can be used on most mops so, there is absolutely no need for you to purchase a new mop to use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser mop refill for only $6.67. Also, there is already a list of available compatible brands in the package. And this package also comes in regular and roller mop versions $21.71 ($0.49 / oz). If you are buying a new mop, they sell mop heads with it too!

The Mr. Clean Mop cleans well effortlessly. Just like the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser $22.87 ($0.95 / Count), it lets you clean without spending too much time scrubbing stubborn spots on floors. The Magic Eraser just simply wiped them away, just like that. And good thing about it, you can save $14.80 (39%) as you purchased.

One good thing about this product is that unlike most mops that leave globs of water on the floor after cleaning, the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Mop does the exact opposite. This could be because of the “magic” material that comprises the Mr. Clean mop head. When you wring the mop out, it really brings out a lot of water!

Warning: Before you use it on your floors, check the package first to see if your floor surface is compatible with the “magic” material. It doesn’t matter how superb the mystery substance is, the fact remains that there are certain surfaces that can be damaged by it. Remember to check the package recommendations before every use.

Disadvantages of Mr Clean Mop

Well, yes they can hold up to several cleanings but they don’t last just as long as traditional sponges do. Though, it does a better job than sponges. And of course, it will be hassle if you are planning to clean the whole house when compared with steam mops.

Product Review

The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Mop is a very satisfactory product for me. It makes me happy, and I hope it will make you happy too. At $14.99 per mop and $6 per mop head refill, the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser mop is definitely a product that is worth your money. Guaranteed by a vast number of satisfied customers!

The Mr Clean squeeze mop is a pain. It doesn’t wring out well and it leaves the floors soaking wet. After an hour & a half, I had to use a towel to dry it off. I used the “magic” mop with the fold over wringer, and it only cleared the top middle of the sponge. the mop actually hits the floor on the back part of the sponge head, and the wringer doesn’t reach it. Ater wringing it out twice, I put the mop on the floor and leaned on it and water came out, and not just a little bit.

I am returning mine to the store – it is a real waste of money.

Mr. Clean Mops are the worst. All these positive reviews but they are truly the worst. I have tried every type of Mr. Clean mop and the one I have at this moment is the magic eraser mop and it just fell apart like all the other mops by this company. after 1 use and the sponge falls off and rips. I do not recommend this to anyone. Stick to the twist mop. Cloth and strand mop. The old fashioned types are the best. I do love sponge mops and I have been fed up with Mr. Clean. For $12.00 on this magic mop I am still on the first use, and half the mop head as broken from the connecter. Buy at your own risk. Mr. Clean mops all suck!!!!!!!!!!
