WOW What a Clean

I used my mop for the first time today in the bathroom. I have a 25 yr old vinyl floor. It made it look new again!!! Left behind not a trace of dirt. It’s textured and you could never get in the nooks to get the dirt out and it always looked worn and dirty. Not any more!!! Even left the floor near the walls spotless. Other mops always left dirt close to the walls. You could never get the floor this clean unless you cleaned it by hand with a floor brush and still it left dirt along the walls. I absolutely LOVE this mop. I am so impressed I am buying the hand held steamer. Now I can really clean my home with half the effort and not have to run out to buy chemicals all the time. Thank You Bissell for a wonderful product!! (read more)

I LOVE IT!!! AFTER TRYING SHARK, AND SHARK AND SHARK AND THEN DIRT DEVIL, THIS IS THE BOMB

I have ceramic floors, live in south florida. I hate dirt, and i hate dirty mops. Sponge mops are useless too. I tried the shark a few times and did not like it. I tried dirt devil and did not like it. Then i got yours. I just love it. Cleans so fast and the floors look new. No effort, no filling every minute. The only things are, cord too short, and will not stand up. Same as everyone said. But i got the same mop with a triangle head! That is all i could find. But now i think i will order the one on this site. I like a bigger head and reversible. But the triangle has 9 steam holes and is hard plastic and you cover. This one it says has 16 steam holes. I cannot even find the amps on the one i have. Pretty strange. Chinese joke i guess. But my question is, does the steam blast out as strong as this model’s does? I ahve the 94-e9t. I love how i can blast the … Out of the floor and presto , it is clean. Quick. Easy. But tell me what the differences are between this one on this page and the model i have. Mine cost $59 by the way. Smaller triangle mop head. I will refund it at the store and get your model if it actually is even stronger steam action. And hot. This one the steam is really hot. I love that.
Now i am going to get the hand held for the car and bathroom and kitchen counters, etc. (read more)

A Phenomenal Light Weight, Quick Response Floor Cleaner

Working in the appliances section at my work, I’ve noted that steam is easily one of the most effective, yet gentle, cleaning agent for just about anything especially in the fields of laundry, dishwashers, and flooring. It roots out anything that doesn’t belong without any undesired side effects if done properly (this being the key element).

I got the Bissell Steam Mop 80K6 knowing this and with the preexisting condition that I always get sauce on the floor since I constantly experiment with spaghetti sauce (I laundry a LOT of aprons). Normally I would use a paper towel with soap to quickly remove the sauce, problem is that the experiments requires constant attention so I usually don’t attend to the spill till later after it has hardened. Using the 80K6 on my floors has considerably helped me in my efforts to keep a (relatively) clean home as I seldom have time for heavy cleaning (I’m writing this on my lunch break BTW).

The 80K6 was very easy to assemble (3 parts) with no tools required and starting working almost immediately. Like any other steam tool, the reservoir had to be filled and given a few minutes to heat up, but once it got up to speed it was very easy to remove light to moderate stains and build-ups on the floor. It was easy to move about given its lightweight nature and the downward spraying feature (as opposed to the typical front) made it safe to operate around electrical sockets and corners of cabinets. I was able to remove all past and present stains save for the hard one in the corner that was left unattended for a week (the best cleaning is prevention and quick response) but that’s my fault for not getting to it sooner.

Another thing I noticed about the 80K6 is that it does not adequately clean up larger particles such as meat or small vegetables (peas, corn, onion particles, etc.). Normally, I would have my automatic quick-response floor cleaning tool, aka my dog Timmy, come by and clean up the spill but since I moved into an apartment that doesn’t allow pets without paying a not-so-small fee, I have to resort to other measures. Despite my handicap, the easiest way to overcome this issue is to pre-clean with a broom and dust mop, easy as that.

After usage, the cloth that cleans the floor can be washed rather than utilizing disposable ones. This saves a lot of hassle in the long run since it doesn’t require more trips to the store to get more.

All in all, the 80K6 is worthy of its price and gets the floor cleaned quickly and effectively so long as you don’t let it sit too long. (read more)

Cons

These are just few of the pros and cons of the product. Be the one to make the final decision whether you’ll get this or not. We really recommend this product. The pros really outweigh the cons!
